Written by Maya Wilmot: My Grandma is one of the strongest, most courageous,
most intelligent, person I've ever met. She came to Canada over 45 years ago,
looking for a better life with her husband and children. Life was good until my grandfather passed away. At the age of 47 my grandmother went back to school and became the best Lab Technician, while working two jobs. After her husband died she had to raise 5 kids on her own, she had to adapt to her new situation, and she adapted well she raised my 3 uncles, my aunt and my mom, and she did a pretty good job at it too. For over 28 years she worked very hard at her
job, and has helped so many people though out the years. When I say, my Grandma is the best Lab Technician, is because she is like a superstar to her patients. Every year at Christmas, she receives many gifts and when her patients see her out and about they give her hugs and appreciation for how gentle she is with them. She is an amazing mother, grandma, sister, and friend to everybody she meets. This is why I would like to nominate my Grandma as a Mother of Magnificence recipient.
