TORONTO, ON-- The 4th annual free Scarborough Afro-Carib Fest runs Saturday and Sunday noon-to-9pm.  Organize expect over 10,000 to take part in the festival

It’s BACK!! It’s BIGGER!! It’s BETTER!! It's FREE!

WhatThe 4th annual Scarborough Afro Carib-Fest takes place on August 22-23, 2015 and offers exciting live musical performances, tasty cuisine, drum and dance workshops, career fair, Dance Competitions and much more!
The first ever Mr. and Ms. AfroCarib Fest will also be crowned in a pageant that features cultural attire and talent competition. "Celebrating Our Diversity" is the theme for this event for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the richness of the city’s diverse communities.
Organized by the Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC), with support from Canadian Heritage, the Ontario Arts Council and TD Bank, the event fosters civic pride and demonstrates the richness of African, Caribbean, and other ethnic cultures that make up the fabric of Canada. The 2-day festival is unique as it helps to bridge social, cultural and economic differences through sharing music, dance, cuisine, arts and culture.

  Canadian Hip Hop Icon  Michie Mee will be hosting the Scarborough Afro Carib Fest all weekend. 
Michie Mee is known within the music industry for her unique rap style of combining reggae and dancehall with hip-hop.

There will be performances and entertainment by Juno Award Winning Artist: Adam Solomon, Award Winning Destiny Band, Pan Masters Steel Band, Kafinal, Carnival Spice, Ijo Vudu, Level Exodus Band, Dance Caribe, and many other talented artists
