Church Service to open the Festival




Invitation to the Media and the Public



The media and the public are invited to attend the opening service of the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival 2015 Festival at the Anglican Church of the Nativity, July 12th, 2015 at 10.00am. Following the service light refreshments will be served. 

The Anglican Church welcomes visitors of all faiths. It will be an Anglican Service that will be celebrated. This is a Free Event.

The Church is located in Malvern at 10 Sewells Road, Scarborough, Ontario. Parking is limited, however visitors may park at the nearby Malvern Mall’s parking lot. 

The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an exciting three-week cultural explosion of Caribbean music, cuisine, and revelry as well as visual and performing arts. It has become a major international event and the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America. As Carnival is an international cultural phenomenon, the great metropolis of Toronto and its environs will come alive as the city explodes with the pulsating rhythms and melodies of Calypso, Soca, Salsa, Zouk, Reggae, Chutney, Steel Pan and Brass Bands celebrating the Carnival of the Americas. The Festival Management Committee oversees the running of North America's largest outdoor festival.
